Privacy Policy

The short version
- We collect only what you give us when you contact us, plus basic technical data needed to run the website securely.
- We use it to reply to you and to run our business. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use tracking cookies. We count visits with cookie-free analytics that doesn't identify you.
- Data you license through a partnership is covered by your signed agreements with us, not by this policy.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
1. Who we are
Hazina Labs LLC ("Hazina Labs", "we", "us") is a limited liability company registered in the State of Connecticut, USA. We help companies license their code and business data to AI labs and their data partners.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), Hazina Labs is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit hazinalabs.com (the "Site"), fill in our contact form, or email us.
It does not cover data that a company licenses or makes available to us as part of a data partnership, such as source code, documents or business records. That data is handled strictly under the non-disclosure, licence and negotiation agreements signed with that company, which set out what we may do with it, how it is protected and when it is deleted.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, work email address, company name, the types of data your company holds, and anything you write in your message.
- Email and calls: your name, contact details, job title, and the content of your messages and conversations with us.
Please don't send us confidential business information or other people's personal information through the Site. If we need more detail, we'll ask for it under an NDA.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: when you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the Site. It works without cookies, stores nothing on your device, and doesn't identify you or follow you across other websites.
We do not use advertising or social media tracking tools on the Site.
4. How and why we use it

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use it to train AI models.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the Site, protects it from attacks, provides our cookie-free website analytics, and delivers contact form messages by email.
- Google LLC, which provides our email.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, in which case the recipient must continue to protect it in line with this policy.
We never tell AI labs or their data partners that you or your company have contacted us without your written consent.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
6. Cookies
We do not set any cookies ourselves. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to distinguish people from automated bots and protect the Site. These are essential to the Site's operation, so they don't require consent, and they are not used to track you. Our analytics don't use cookies or store anything on your device.
Because we don't track visitors, we treat browser signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track as an opt-out and have nothing further to switch off.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the US and other countries. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, your information will be transferred outside it.
Where we do, we rely on an appropriate safeguard: the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we enter into a partnership, in which case we keep it for as long as the relationship lasts and for up to 6 years afterwards to meet legal and tax obligations.
- Technical data: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, typically no longer than needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics: kept only as aggregated visit statistics, which do not identify you.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to people who need it, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires.
10. Your rights (UK and EU)
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@hazinalabs.com. We will respond within one month. We may need to verify your identity first.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113). In the EU, it is the authority in the country where you live or work. We'd appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
11. Your rights (US states)
Depending on where you live, including California, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and access a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information we hold about you;
- opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling (we do none of these);
- not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email privacy@hazinalabs.com. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask for proof of their authority. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal within the time the law requires. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Notice to California residents
In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, from you directly and from your device, for the business purposes described in section 4:
- Identifiers: name, email address, IP address.
- Professional or employment-related information: company name, job title, the types of data your company holds.
- Internet or other electronic network activity: technical data about your visit.
We disclose these categories only to the service providers listed in section 5. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information. We keep each category for the periods described in section 8.
12. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and where changes are significant we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
